and as the capital, Brisbane is no exception, and it’s easy to see why! As a

areas taking up a significant amount of the space.
Travel to Melbourne
- Today Melbourne is the second-largest city in Australia and the capital
of the state of Victoria. Melbourne is built on a coastal plain at the top
of the giant horseshoe shaped Port Phillip Bay, which also serves as the
mouth of the mighty Yarra River. Located on the southern coast of
Australia’s eastern seaboard, Melbourne is perhaps Australia’s most cultured
and politically conservative city. Recommended hotels in Melbourne
Travel to
Perth - Perhaps one of your first stops in Perth will be the city centre. The
inner city of Perth bustles with activity and offers a range of choices for
souvenir shopping, theatre productions, and of course enjoying water
activities on the Perth Swan River such as Jet skiing, surfcatting and river
cruises. Recommended hotels in Perth

Weather Overview
Summer (December to February) can get uncomfortably hot just about
anywhere, even in Tasmania. If you're in the southern states during these
months it's great beach weather and great melanoma weather. Up north, this
is the wet season, and it's very, very humid (plus, the sea is swarming with
box jellyfish). On the upside, the Top End is beautifully green and free of
tourists at this time.
From June until August things in the north have cooled down a little and
dried up a lot. This is a good time to visit Queensland or the outback. If
you're here for the skiing, now's the time to head for the snowfields of NSW
and Victoria. Overall, spring and autumn are probably the safest bets - the
weather is reasonably mild wherever you are, and spring brings out the
wildflowers in the outback, while autumn is particularly beautiful around
Canberra and in the Victorian Alps.
