Russia is the largest country in the world. To explore the vastness

The town of Novgorod has its origins tracing back to the time when marauders raided the country in the 12th century. Its northern position enabled it to safeguard the city from such raids. Down south, the cities of Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don figured prominently during the wars waged in the Black Sea. The most popular city on this side however is Sochi, due to its motley of resorts along the coast. |
