bright and the decoration is warm and functional. Also the Hotel is located
at the train station and close to the amusement district, the rooms are
quiet. The bathrooms are medium, modern, fully equipped and very clean. The "Wintergarten" Restaurant offers an international and
local cuisine and has a wide range of local specialities. The fish dishes
are excellent (as the harbour and the famous "Fishmarket" is just a short
walk away) This Hotel is superb for any traveller who wants
to enjoy the harbour and amusement culture, Hamburg is famous for and also
have a hotel which is relaxed and quiet. The Hotel is also recommended for
its value for money.Harbour and river excursions are also in a short
range. It is also excellent for short week and weekend stays for small groups
who want to explore the amusement district of St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn. |

The rooms are average in size and decorated in a friendly colour scheme with light wood furnishings. They have a warm and friendly feel. They are in very good condition as are the bathrooms. The usual breakfast room is located on the ground floor behind the lifts through from the lobby. It features a large circular and ornate ceiling window. The walls are also ornately wood panneled giving a traditional atmosphere to the room. A very well located hotel for guests wanting to explore the sights of Munich.

The hotel is ideally located in the very centre of the city
the Vier Jahreszeiten with some of Munich's finest shops at its doorstep on
the Maximilianstrasse.Many historical and cultural attractions are within
walking distance of the hotel. The rooms combine the charm of
the past with the comfort of the present. They vary significantly in style
depending on standard, but the ordinary rooms are in very good condition,
furnished with dark heavy furniture. All the rooms are large. The bathrooms of
the standard rooms are in good condition. One of the
restaurants is a classic and traditional gourmet restaurant. It is elegant in
style and atmosphere. The brasserie "Jahreszeiten Eck" is an informal
restaurant. The snack bar is by the roof top pool and the "Jahreszeiten Bar"
is a traditional and popular meeting place for the fashionable people of the
city. One of the best five star hotels in Munich with
excellent location and close to all attractions, Opera and shopping mall. |

to date hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent with
both hot and cold buffets. The piano bar situated below was brilliant for
live music while we were there. I'd certainly go back as would the others in
