The Menam is a beautiful hotel with a lovely riverside view; you can take the hotel's water-taxi (a boat shuttle) on a 10-min ride down the river to the Bangkok Skytrain station, or continue on the boat to more central areas. The pool and restaurant were picturesque, and the staff quite helpful.
