The Seri Selangor Golf Club is Malaysia’s first bonafide public golf course. The course was officially launched in 1998 and is located near the city centre of Kuala Lumpur.
The Seri Selangor Golf Club course was created by famous designer Ross Watson. The course is surrounded by thick rainforest and hazards that will test even the best of golfers. Mature trees, ponds, lakes and undulating fairways will provide for an exciting round at the 18-hole par 71 course. The golf course was created inline with the State Government of Selangor’s goal to help develop the game of golf and make it affordable to the public.
Night golfing was introduced in April 2001. It is one of the busiest golf courses in the Klang Valley area. The Seri Selangor Golf Course was the venue for the 2006 World Cup Qualifier. It will also be the venue for this year’s Worldwide Selangor Masters 2008.
