 The first golf club in Langkawi with an 18-hole, 72-par course. Situated
close to Kuah town, it is also the main club used by local golfers as well
as tourists. Views from the clubhouse are spectacular. Located right on the
top of the hill, with a spectacular overview of Kuah. Relaxed and casual
with a not too challenging course.

and owned by Landmarks Berhad, The Golf Club Datai Bay opened for play in
April 1992. Carved out of virgin jungle, the magnificent Datai Bay course

Its immense variety – including tricky uphill and downhill lies,
undulating in some places, flat in others, with bunkers, water hazards and

Par is well earned at Datai on the narrow fairways where the jungle seems
to attract your shots. Altogether a refreshing golfing experience, to savour.
The fairways are covered with Bermuda Tifway and Tifdwarf for the greens.
Datai Bay offers plenty of challenges and on some holes, par is well
earned. Don’t allow yourself to be mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the
course and its surroundings for full concentration is vital for success.
The Golf Club Datai Bay has established itself as one of the “Top Ten”
golf course in Malaysia. The unique feature of the course which acclaimed
admiration form the foreign and local golfers is a perfect hideaway between
the mountain and the sea.
Although built as a resort course, Datai Bay is never a lame affair.
Instead, this narrow, tree-lined track actually oozes with challenges that
