The USA boasts vibrant cities and breathtaking
landscapes. East and West coasts feature predominately with stop-overs, but
there’s something for everybody in between.
New York City in the East speaks for
itself, a dominant skyline hovering over the fast-paced Manhattan lifestyle.
However, it’s only a short journey by air to
Washington DC, Boston,
Atlantic City,
Miami and even Niagara Falls near the
Canadian border. Scratching the surface…but heading West, music fans can experience
Graceland in Memphis and
Nashville (the "home of Country Western
Music”), before visiting Chicago. Then,
head south for jazz in New Orleans, jump across to Texas…before enjoying the
grandeur of Yellowstone National Park as we cross the interior. Before we hit the sun-soaked Californian beaches, the Nevada Desert
awaits us! Las Vegas (click
here for more about Las Vegas) promises ‘24 hour
entertainment’, but is a stone’s throw from the inspirational beauty of the
Grand Canyon. Next…admire the rolling hills of San
Francisco overlooking the harbour and Golden Gate Bridge. An
increasingly popular destination, it’s also located near the wine growing
Napa Valley region. Heading further up the West Coast, discover the glamour
of Los Angeles - Hollywood, Beverly
Hills, Malibu and Venice Beach. Or, you can simply spend a few relaxing days in
Hawaii or take the ‘children’ to Disneyland - the world’s largest theme park!

Atlanta
Downtown Atlanta offers something for everyone; history buffs enjoy the wide variety of world-class history centers and museums throughout the area; cultural connoisseurs attend a variety of concerts and theatrical performances; families visit zoos and amusement parks; and sports fans choose from baseball, football, basketball and hockey in the Sports Capital of the World. Atlanta has more restaurants, entertainment venues and cultural attractions than any other city in the Southeast. With a population of almost 4 million people, Atlanta is the 10th largest city in the United States. Atlanta is undisputedly the economic hub of the Southeast, but, as its nickname implies, "Hotlanta" has also emerged as the cultural capital of this region. The city has achieved unparalleled growth in the last 20 years while still maintaining the unique Southern flavor that has been immortalized in the epic film, "Gone With the Wind". CNN Center is also available for visitors who would like to tour the studios and participate in a live broadcast (see Inside CNN Atlanta Studio Tour).

Hawaii
Hawaii - the Aloha State - welcomes and seduces visitors with its sea breezes and tropical warmth. This is where East merges with West in a blur of hula and disco, fast food and tea ceremonies, Shinto shrines and surf clubs.
Mark Twain declared Hawaii to be the loveliest fleet of islands that lies anchored in any ocean, and not even 30 years of mass tourism have managed to prove him wrong. Whether your thing is volcano spotting, surfing or just lying back and smelling the orchids, this is the place to indulge yourself.
