When someone mentions San Francisco it's hard not to think of car chases, trams, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and girls with flowers in their hair. Besides it's legendary status it's also culturally rich and is a thriving economic epi-centre for Californian business. You'll also discover it's home to quite radical thinking and laws – no smoking in restaurants being just one of those Californian ideals. You'll find everything from the sophisticated to the eccentric, the classy to the tacky - good times are guaranteed.
